Book Summary Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer

               Jon Krakauer's novel Into The Wild is a true story about the life of Christopher McCandless. The book went on to become a movie directed by Sean Penn. The main topic covered in the book was the span of time between 1990 and 1992, when McCandless got rid of all his possesions and took a trek across the wilderness of North America. The book starts at the site of McCandless' death in Alaska and then retraces his two year journey from that point. You other teenagers out there should read this book! I have not read the book myself (all the above info was from Wikipedia or my teachers), but from what I am hearing it is a good one to digest.
